How do I play?
Put the phone flat in the middle of the table. Everyone sits around it and gets their own corner of the screen. On each turn the next word in the sequence appears (Cat, Lemon, Panda, Pizza, Rocket) and the player whose turn it is says it out loud. A card then flips by itself. If the card shows the same thing as the spoken word, everyone taps their own corner as fast as they can. The last to tap loses a life, and so does anyone who taps when it is not a match.
The app has a one-minute practice run built in: tap How to play on the main screen.
There is no sound
- Check that Sound is on in the settings (the gear at the bottom of the main screen).
- Turn the volume up. The game plays through the media channel.
- The game deliberately mixes with other audio. If music is playing loudly, the card clicks can get lost under it.
It is too fast / too slow
Open settings and change the Tempo. Relaxed is for a table learning the game; Fast is for players who already know it. The game also speeds up gradually on its own as a round goes on.
A tap did not register
Each player has their own area and only taps inside it count. Make sure nobody is reaching across into someone else's corner. If the phone is in a thick case that raises the screen edges, the corners can be harder to hit.
What are the surprise cards?
- Reverse: play continues the other way round.
- Turbo: the next few rounds run faster.
- False Match: the right picture, but a faded card. It does not count, and tapping it costs a life.
You can switch them off in settings for a simpler first game.
Can I turn off the surprise cards for children?
Yes. Settings → Surprise cards. With them off the game is one rule: if the card matches the word, tap.
Do you collect any data?
No. See the privacy policy. The app has no network code at all.
